Preparation Strategy for SSC CGL 2022

The Staff Selection Commission has released the notification for SSC CGL 2022.  Staff Selection Commission is an exam conducted body set up by the government of India to recruit staff for various posts in the Ministries and Departments of the Government of India. The Commission has released the exam date for SSC CGL 2022  i.e April 2022 tentatively.

and detailed syllabus of the SSC CGL 2022. Because before going to war

Tier-I Computer Based Examination


SSC will conduct a computer-based examination for the Tier -I exam which

consists of four sections. Each section consists of 25 questions.

Paper I & II are compulsory for all posts but Paper III will be for only

those candidates who apply for the posts of junior statistical officer.

Paper IV will be for only those candidates who apply for the posts

of Assistant Audit officer/Assistant Accounts Officer.

Preparation Strategy for SSC CGL  Exam 


The Tier -I Exam consists of four sections. Each section needs a

different approach to attempt the question, the tips for tackling each section

are given below.




  1. During the preparation Study the basics of all subjects from NCERT

  2. Books including history, polity, economics, and science.

  3. Memorize important facts from history, Geography, and polity.

  4. Ready daily newspaper for current affairs.

  5. Analyze the previous year's papers to know about the maximum question asked from which subject.

  6. Attempt previous year's questions to know about the difficulty level

  7. of questions.

  8. Attempt Topic test for concerned subject.

  9. Attempt chapter test for concerned subject.

  10. Analyze your score from the mock test and make a strategy for

  11. which subject or topic needs improvement.

 


  • First, you have to practice all types of questions from basic to difficult level.

  • Categorize the topic or subtopic which takes more time while attempting the questions.

  • Topics like puzzles, seating arrangement, counting figures require effort and time for solving them correctly and quickly in the examination.

  • Candidates should strive right from the beginning to practice enough questions, so as to quickly recognize the patterns present in the problem.

  • Work with the smart approach, skip the time-consuming question, move to the next one if in the last some time left then you can attempt the skipped question.

  • Analyze the previous year's papers to know about the maximum question asked from which Topic or subtopic.

  • Attempt previous year's questions to know about the difficulty level of questions.

  • Attempt Topic test & Subtopic test.

  • Analyze your score from the mock test and make a strategy for which  topic need improvement.




 



  • This section is divided into two parts: first is Arithmetic and second is Advanced maths. 

  • For attempting arithmetic questions you have to learn table, square roots, cube root, square, cube, digital sum concepts, and unit digit concept, Multiplication & Division tricks 

  • Arithmetic contains Number System, Simplification, Lcm and Hcf, Surds and Indices, Percentage, Profit and Loss, Average, Time and Work, Speed Time Distance, Boat, and stream, Data Interpretation.

  • Arithmetic questions are based on language. If you can understand the language of the question then you can easily score good marks in the arithmetic part.

  • For easy understanding of question language, you have to practice enough questions, so as to quickly recognize the language present in the problem.

  • For attempting Advanced maths you have to learn the basic formulae of algebra, mensuration, trigonometry.

  • Advanced maths contains Algebra, Trigonometry, Mensuration, Circle.

  •  You have to practice all types of questions from Foundation to difficult level.

  •  Use elimination methods.

  • Work with the smart approach, skip the time-consuming question, move to the next one if in the last some time left then you can attempt the skipped question.

  • Analyze the previous year's papers to know about the maximum question asked from which Topic or subtopic.

  • Attempt previous year's questions to know about the difficulty level of questions.

  • Attempt Topic test.

  • Attempt Subtopic test.

English Language & Comprehension Preparation strategy 

English is the second most important section in the SSC CGL exam. This section improves the overall rank and marks of candidates in the final selection. For attempting this section you have to follow the proper strategy.

 
  • English is a topic that most of us can score by following some aspects like vocabulary, grammar, and comprehension.

  •  Reading newspapers, editorial sections and magazines are the best way to improve these three. 

  •  And it is also important to improve our grammatical knowledge to crack this exam.

  • Most of the questions are asked from grammar, therefore improving the basic rules of grammar.

  • Practice at least two comprehension passages and cloze test regularly.

  •  While reading the newspaper if you find any new words please look for their synonyms and antonyms. This will help in improving your vocabulary skills.

  • Analyze the previous year's papers to know about the maximum question asked from which Topic or subtopic.

  • Attempt previous year's questions to know about the difficulty level of questions.

 IMPORTANT POINTS 

  • Note down the shortcut revision on regular time being.

  • Do not forget previous year’s question papers.

  • Take the mock test, analyze your performance.

  • Work on your weak point.

  • Don’t be overburden
